About CBC

“Building strong family character is a choice not accomplished by accident, for we are laborers together with God building a holy temple.”

History of the Church

Community Bible Church (CBC), a small, rural, non-denominational church housed in a building with a rich history dating back to 1906, was revitalized in 2012 by Rev. Dr. Babcock. Focusing on families, CBC quickly became known as the “Children’s Church,” necessitating the purchase of two buses and a van for transportation. The church offers a variety of programs, including youth groups, camping, and a Christmas adoption program, fostering a welcoming environment for spiritual growth and community engagement. Rev. Dr. Babcock, a seminary graduate with experience working with disadvantaged youth, brings his expertise to CBC, creating a space where families can “play and pray together” and thrive in all aspects of life.
